The History of Black Canvas

The Black Canvas was formed by a High School students since 2015. Handled by Adrian Bagay ( lead guitarist) and Adam Sunga  (Drummer). With members: Jhon Laurence Bensan (Vocalist) Alexandrus Baraoidan( Guitar) and Paul Adrian Ulit (BassGuitar). The Band was lack of instruments in every gigs. But when the band started to play in party. We decided to invest  instruments. We started to inquire a cheap bass guitar then after that we also inquire a electric guitar and guitar amps. But the hardest part is,we can’t afford to buy a drums. Drums was very expensive to buy. The cheapest price is over 20,000 I think. And it’s a Pearl Drum or a TAMA drum kit without cymbals. But we decided to buy a Zildian cymbals for better sound of cymbals. After that I bought a pedal for my Guitar. It’s my first pedal which is the Boss GT-100. It’s only 500 bucks. It’s very hard to start a band without any instruments. Good instruments with clean sounds rather. After we bought everything we started a gig on February 24,2015. Which is the best night to play in a Prom. Moving up was the sadest part of the band members. I thought we will never see each other again for senior high school, but thank God we are still in same school,same room,and same place and time. In May 1,2016 Paul Adrian Ulit (Bass Guitar ) went to canada to finish his senior high school there. And the roster of the band still remain the same. But we can still play without him but no more import and he will still be my best bassist and still the bassist of the band. PRESENT ROSTER: Adrian Bagay (Lead Guitarist) Adam Sunga (Drums) Jhon Laurence Bensan (Vocalist) Alexandrus (Temporary Bassist) for the mean time only. But he still play acoustic guitar when we have a Acoustic Session/GIG. WE PLAY FOR THE SAKE OF OUR FEELINGS. EVEN THOUGH MY BASSIST IS FAR AWAY, WE ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT WE ARE JUST ONE HAPPY FAMILY. -The Black Canvas
